Ms. Arriola works as the Strategic Advisor to the President at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose. Deeply committed to Jesuit education, she enjoys building relationships and working towards institutional change that allows schools to more fully live out their Catholic mission. Most recently, she spent four years as President of Sacred Heart Nativity School, a Jesuit middle school that serves first-generation college bound, low-income students. As a first-gen college-bound Latina herself, Ms. Arriola is interested in the social, emotional and academic impact of urban poverty on students and works towards finding solutions around barriers to higher education. She graduated with Honors from Stanford University, received her Master’s in Education from Harvard University, and completed additional post-graduate study at the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Catholic Educational Leadership through the McGrath Institute for Jesuit Catholic Education at USF.
