Lynda Coffman is a senior operations executive with deep experience leading large and complex organizations.
She has held executive positions in multiple business units at United Airlines, most recently serving as president of United Ground Express, which she founded and grew to a multi-million dollar company with 5,000 employees. Among other leadership positions at United, she was vice president for global food service operations; managing director for the United/Continental merger; managing director, United Express; and director, airport operations for United’s Midwest region.
Lynda’s corporate experience includes service as regional vice president of Westfield Corporation. She has held change management and consulting positions with Deloitte Consulting, Accenture and A.T. Kearny.
Lynda holds private company and board positions, including with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group of the advisory board of Santa Clara University’s School of Engineering. She is vice chair of the board of Common Threads, a national non-profit organization providing cooking and nutritional education to under-resourced communities, and is a board member of Airspares Unlimited.
Throughout her career, Lynda has served in professional roles that advance diversity in the workplace.
She holds a master of management degree from the J.L.Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University.
