Renee Niemi chairs the Santa Clara University School of Engineering Advisory Board.
A limited partner with Mighty Capital, she has extensive experience as a leader in business and technology. In addition to her position with Mighty Capital, she is a board director and business consultant.
Renee has served as senior vice president and general manager for Logitech’s Smart Home Division; general manager and global director for Google’s Chrome and Android for Work and Education and Plantronics’ senior vice president and chief product officer. Additionally, she has held executive positions at Danger, Inc., Visto Corp. and Xircom. She began her career at Fairchild/National Semiconductor.
In addition to her service with Santa Clara University’s Engineering Advisory Board, Renee is member of the board of directors of Via Global Health, Scientific Adventures for Girls and the Advisory Council for the University of California Observatory. In 2018, she was honored with Santa Clara University School of Engineering’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
Renee holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University.
