Lecturer
Rudi Schuech received a BS in Biological & Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and an MS and PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley, where he developed a strong interest in biological fluid dynamics and computational methods. He went on to postdoctoral positions in oceanography, biology, and applied mathematics departments where he refined his current research focus on low Reynolds numbers flows and microswimmers. He joined SCU Mechanical Engineering as a Lecturer in 2025.
