  • PI Liu and PI Yan present the projects at their home institutions (i.e., Santa Clara University, U.S. and Concordia University, Canada)
  • The Inaugural Workshop on Equitable, Resilient, and Clean Energy for Grid-Interactive Communities (SCU, March 25, 2024):
    • The full-day event is hosted in the Sobrato Campus for Discovery and Innovation (SCDI) at Santa Clara University, CA. It featured 6 invited talks and a panel session by speakers from academia and industry, related to human interactions, load restoration, DER coordination, microgrid controls, resilient full cells, solar standardization, artificial intelligence in the grid, and cybersecurity, among others. Over 30 attendees joined the event from California, Maryland, Illinois, and abroad (Canada and Mexico), including the Canadian co-PI Yan (in person) and Ghafouri (online). The attendees have a diversified representation of academic, government, industrial, and non-profit organizations.
