Behnam Dezfouli is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Santa Clara University, California, USA. He is also the director of SCU's IoT Research Lab (SIOTLAB), where he directs research projects on Internet of Things, software-defined networking and virtualization, edge and fog computing, cyber-physical systems, and humanitarian technologies. He has developed and taught courses on Internet of Things, computer networks, wireless communication, programming and data structures. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, an associate editor of IEEE Communications Letters, and chair of IEEE Communications Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter.
