Dear Friends of the School of Engineering,
As we approach the end of our first quarter transitioning back here on campus, we reflect on all of the incredible changes the school has gone through, as told in the Fall 2021 Engineering Newsletter (link below). We also reflect on our students’ true Bronco spirit for their resilience and compassion as we moved back to in-person learning.
Through this transition, we continue to celebrate new connections and our students’ achievements. Read about some of them here from SCU’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) President, Angelus McNally, to our leaders of SCU’s Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). From our students’ success to our faculty’s passion (as seen in their lightning talks below), we truly are grateful for our Bronco Engineering Community!
The quarter has not been without challenges for all of us in the School of Engineering, but our students, faculty, and staff have once again risen above them. I couldn’t be more proud of our School.
I wish you the best of holidays and a happy and healthy new year.
Elaine
