Epson Large Format Printer
The Epson Large Format printers are used for printing on large paper media. In the Maker Lab we have an Epson SureColor P8000 Design Edition and an Epson SureColor T3170 Wireless.

Workspace: P8000- Max Width: 44"; Minimum Cut-sheet: 8.5"x11"; Thickness: 0.8 mm to 1.5 mm
T3170- Max Width: 24"; Minimum Cut-sheet: 8.27"x11"; Thickness: Up to 8.6 mil
Materials: Paper sheets and rolls
File Types: image file or pdf, pdf preferred
Material Fees: Based on print size. Typically use 24" or 44" rolls. Paper types and pricing are listed on the request form.
Common Terminology: Singleweight Matte Paper- 5.5 mil thickness paper ideal for indoor signage, proofs, displays, and posters; Doubleweight Matte Paper- 8.3 mil thickness paper ideal for photographs, professional layouts, proofs, displays, and posters; Poster Paper- smooth satin surface has little glare making it ideal for displays and posters; Glossy Paper- high-gloss paper ideal for photographs, images, displays, and posters.
