Trim Saw
The Trim Saw is a type of Circular Saw. Trim saws and circular saws are used for making straight, relatively accurate cuts. In the Maker Lab we have DeWalt Circular Saws. Note: Photo is of our previous Craftsman trim saw, but the DeWalt circular saw is similar.

Common Terminology: Cross Cutting - Cross cutting is cutting across or perpendicular to the grain of the wood. Rip Cutting - Rip cutting is cutting along or parallel to the grain of the wood.
