Purpose
The University Event Planning Office (EPO) is designated and recognized as the liaison between university departments producing events and the organizations necessary to support them. We publish and promote definitive standards to ensure that all events hosted by campus departments exhibit a level of quality appropriately showcasing Santa Clara University's excellence.
Services

Provide the university departments and event planners with event coordination leadership, counsel, and services.

Advise the university community on procedural protocol, event policies, and event space usage.

Manage high-impact events and special events hosted by the Office of the President including but not limited to Commencement, Building Groundbreakings and Dedications, University Holiday Events, other annual and one-time university gatherings.

Support and staff all meetings, events and travel programs for the three university-wide boards:
- Board of Trustees
- Board of Regents
- Board of Fellows
- Partner with various academic and administrative offices on campus in order to achieve their individual event goals and objectives.
