Antonio Amore Rojas ’23 has a passion for the environment, which led him to a valuable opportunity at Cadence Design Systems. As an ESG and Compliance intern on the ESG team, Antonio gained skills and experience that will allow him to make a positive impact on the environment.

About Antonio Amore Rojas
Antonio Amore Rojas ’23, a 2022-23 business ethics intern with the Markklua Center for Applied Ethics worked at Cadence Design Systems as an ESG and Compliance intern on the ESG team. Rojas is interested in the role of business in relation to the environment, as well as how this relates to environmental justice and social justice topics like workers' rights, LGBTQ rights in the workplace, and how capitalism contributes to the decline of our global environment. Rojas intends to pursue a career with an environmental focus. Whether that be on a company’s ESG team, in consulting, or anywhere where he can eliminate the damage caused by companies to the environment. Antonio is very passionate about these issues and previously interned at a food justice nonprofit called Veggielution.
