Mancuso New Assistant Director Character Education

Brings with him years of experience in education and character curricula

Fr. Tony Mancuso was recently named Assistant Director for the Ethics Center’s Character Education program. He began his association with the Ethics Center in 2009, when he was invited to be a visiting scholar, and he has served as a priest of the Diocese of San Jose for 31 years.  As the Assistant Director of Character Education, he writes the Build. Plant. Grow. character formation curriculum and collaborates with Character Education Director Steve Johnson for the Ethics Camps designed for Catholic school principals and new Catholic school teachers. Currently the chaplain and director of Campus Ministry at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, CA, Mancuso has served as adjunct faculty in the SCU Graduate School of Education and continues parish ministry at Church of the Resurrection in Sunnyvale. He holds a doctorate in education from USF and an M.Div. from Saint Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore, as well as an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from SCU.
