Bioethicist Silvia Camporesi speaks at SCU
During an April visit to campus, Silvia Camporesi, a bioethicist trained in biotechnology in Italy and the U.S., and in philosophy of medicine in the UK, described the new gene editing techniques using CRISPR/Cas9, and its bioethical and biopolitical ramifications.

She was formerly at the Department of Anthropology, History and Social Medicine at UCSF.
