3 Lessons From IBM on Designing Responsible, Ethical AI

A new case study from the World Economic Forum and the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University recognizes IBM’s leadership as a trusted, responsible technology company, particularly as a leading developer of ethical AI. It points to three key lessons learned that could encourage and enable all organizations to adopt and operationalize ethics in technology in their activities.

Brian Green, director, technology ethics, and Daniel Lim, Fellow, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the World Economic Forum co-authored a summary of the key lessons learned from their research, along with a brief overview of IBM's historical journey towards ethical technology.
