Many tech employees are more ‘woke,’ but changing monolith companies is not easy
“They don’t want to have problems recruiting young workers who are coming in and watching this conversation and who are watching to see how the company responds,” said SCU’s Raicu, adding that if the issues — such as the ones that Zuckerberg is facing — keep reappearing internally and in the media, then employees can have an impact. “That is what it would take, it would take for the people at the very top to shift their position. It’s hard because they might have to accept the idea of making less money, because the business model is hard to change.”
