Research Committee

Purpose:. The Research Committee works with the Associate Vice Provost for Research to support faculty scholarship at the University. It makes recommendations to the Faculty Affairs Committee and sponsors programs to enhance scholarship.

In September 2023, the Research Committee Working Group was formed by the Office of Research. The Research Committee Working Group will work closely with the Research Committee and the Office of Research to ensure that there are a sufficient number of reviewers for each of the grant programs to aid with the transparent and unbiased review of each grant proposal and application, playing a meaningful role in SCU’s commitment to supporting and elevating scholarship. 

The Office of Research will annually solicit interest from Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors, Lecturers, and Senior Lecturers to serve on the Research Working Group. The term of service is for an academic year.
