University Coordinating Committee

Purpose:  The University Coordinating Committee (UCC) is the meta committee that makes governance more efficient, effective and responsive.

Membership:

  • Carolynn Roncaglia, Associate Professor, Classics (Chair)
  • Andrea Pappas, Professor, Art & Art History (Chair-elect)
  • Catherine Murphy, Associate Provost for Faculty Personnel & Policy, Provost Designate (ex officio)
  • Teresa McCollough, Faculty Senate President, 2024-25 (ex officio)
  • Ray Plaza, Staff Senate President, 2024-25 (ex officio)
  • Andrew Amador-Corrales, Past Staff Senate President (ex officio)
  • Ryan Rani, ASG President, 2024-25 (ex officio)
  • Ixtlac Dueñas, Collaborative Governance Specialist (non-voting participant)

UPC Administrator:

  • James Glaser, Provost and Executive Vice President

The charge of the University Coordinating Committee is to:

  1. Coordinate the work of the University Policy Committees (UPCs).
  2. Appoint to each UPC members who are competent to perform the work of that committee.
  3. Guarantee appropriate consultation and efficiency in the overall process of university governance.
