Meet the Vice President
Shá Duncan Smith serves as the Vice President for Inclusive Excellence at Santa Clara University. With over 20 years of expertise in organizational change, she champions a human-centered, collaborative approach to organizational change and development. Shá's career includes leading roles at Swarthmore College, the University of Michigan, and the University of Southern California. In her work she has collaborated with higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and Fortune 100 companies to build strategic organizational cultures, focusing on inclusive justice, growth mindsets, and honest cultures as core values. Her work involves developing training modules that enhance intercultural capacity and critical consciousness. Sha's other full time role includes being a supportive wife and partner, mom to four beautiful humans and chief operating officer of the Duncan Smith household. Shá holds a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
