Instructional Technology staff partner with faculty to:
- Design and develop multimedia course materials and student assignments
- Integrate web technologies into the curriculum
- Identify available resources
- Develop teaching and assessment materials
- Maximize the Camino LMS for the best student experience and learning outcomes
- Support students in completing multimedia assignments
Ray Duron recently joined Instructional Technology as the ̣Learning Management System Support Specialist. Prior to SCU, Ray worked at Holy Names University, where he was responsible for the design and development of instructional guides, training sessions, and videos for faculty on instructional technologies and digital tools. Ray received his BA in History from Cal Poly Pomona and his MA in Educational Technology from the University of San Francisco.
Eric came to Santa Clara University with over a decade of experience in higher education. At SCU, Eric coordinates instructional technology support and trainings, and works with faculty in digital media assignment collaborations, course design consultations, and in Technology and Teaching Workshops. He received his PhD in Buddhist Studies from the University of Michigan, where he taught Buddhist and Asian Studies courses.
Colin moved to California from a small town in Washington State. In his previous position at Whitman College, Colin assisted Humanities and Arts faculty with various technologies used in teaching and research.
As the university's Online/Hybrid specialist, Jeremy previously taught online at the iSchool in San José for six years in the graduate Library and Information Science program as a senior lecturer.
Keith joined the Instructional Technology team in 2022. From 2004-2022, Keith taught education courses in the Graduate School of Education at Santa Clara University. During that time he was the Online Education Manager for the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at SCU designing and facilitating the Center’s Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Currently he is facilitating the Innovation Fellows Pathway at the Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
