Nancy has the good fortune to work with a dedicated team to support university-wide technology initiatives and a wide range of campus technology resources and services, including instructional technology initiatives such as addressing content accessibility and supporting the launch of new online graduate programs; classrooms, conference rooms, and learning space development, upgrades, and support; computing and technology assistance through the Technology Help Desk and Field support; instructional media support (e.g., Panopto and Zoom) and graphics support (e.g., campus digital signage solution and poster printing); technology asset management; campus website technical support and web application development; and technology training on supported desktop software.
Nancy also partners with the Collaborative for Faculty Innovation to develop programming, workshops, and technology resources to support teaching innovation. Nancy works with the Instructional Technology team, to support Collaborative projects, CAFEs, the summer faculty workshops, and online course development.
Nancy is a long-standing member and has held a number of leadership positions in DET/CHE, the Drivers of Educational Technology in California Higher Education, a statewide professional organization which brings together professionals from non-profit private institutions and the CC, CSU, and UC systems; and serves on the ATXpo planning team for the annual event that brings together faculty, students, and staff from eight Bay Area schools – University of San Francisco, UC Berkeley, UC San Francisco, Stanford University, San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, and Saint Mary’s College of California – to share, discuss, and promote effective practices for teaching and learning with technology.
