Bug Bounty Program

SCU has a private Bug Bounty program for Santa Clara University students and employees. This experimental program provides a formal method for students and employees to find and report vulnerabilities in pre-defined areas of Santa Clara University's network and application environments. Participants must apply for and be accepted into the program, meet eligibility requirements, and agree to abide by program guidelines. In return, students and employees who find and report vulnerabilities may receive a modest award.

Program Benefit:

  • Our Bug Bounty program directly supports SCU’s academic mission by providing experiential learning opportunities for students;
  • Our Bug Bounty program encourages vulnerability disclosure in a responsible and ethical manner; and
  • SCU’s cybersecurity stance is improved.

Please note that at this time our Bug Bounty is not open to the public.
