Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Chapter at SCU
SCU WiCyS Chapter:
In September 2024, Santa Clara University launched its own student chapter of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS). WiCyS is a global organization dedicated to bringing together women and allies to build a strong community within cybersecurity. Our chapter at SCU aims to foster mentorship, networking, professional development, and learning opportunities to support and encourage diversity in the cybersecurity field.
WiCyS student chapters are part of a national network designed to help members grow their technical skills, gain valuable industry insights, and connect with peers and professionals. Through guest speakers, workshops, mentorship programs, and conferences, WiCyS provides unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
Everyone is welcome to join! You don't need prior cybersecurity experience—just curiosity and enthusiasm about cybersecurity topics. We host weekly meetings that include informative workshops, fun socials, guest speakers, and more! Visit our SCU WiCyS Chapter website to learn more, view upcoming events, and become a member.
