Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich: Unlocking the power of the Spirit: a new path for the Catholic Church's mission

Final Document of the Synod (26 October 2024)

“It is therefore urgent to rethink formation in the Church in a synodal key, as integral, continuous, and shared. Initial and ongoing formation, in all vocations, ministries, and charisms, must be renewed so that it helps to develop the ability to listen, to walk together, to discern in common, and to engage in mission. Every formative proposal must involve all the dimensions of the person (human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral) and must include experiences of participation and co-responsibility.” (143)
