The LEAD Scholars Program provides current LEAD Scholars with leadership opportunities such as becoming part of the LEAD Week Staff. There are opportunities to lead a group of mentees as a Peer Mentor, actively participate in the first-year seminar courses with a seminar instructor as a Seminar Peer Educator, or the CTW courses as an English Peer Educator.

LEAD Week Assistant

Hello, my name is Jahir De Los Santos and I’m from San Jose, CA. I’m a rising senior majoring in Economics. My favorite courses so far at SCU have been ECON 113: Intermediate Microeconomics I and ECON 174: Applied Time Series Analysis. A few fun facts about me: I enjoy staying active outdoors (whether running, hiking, or playing soccer), I thoroughly enjoy listening to Latin & rap music, and my first time being abroad was in Barcelona. In addition to LEAD, I'm actively involved as a board member of the Latinx Business Student Association (LBSA), a scholar with the Peninsula College Fund (a first-gen scholarship), and an intern at Morgan Stanley. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
