The Library invites you to join us for a luncheon to celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday complete with an Elizabethan-inspired banquet and birthday cake. Bon Appétit will prepare recipes selected from Cooking With Shakespeare.
An all-star cast of performers including Aldo Billingslea, Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion, Associate Professor Kimberly Hill, and Adjunct Lecturer Jeff Bracco will captivate the audience with Shakespeare’s sonnets and monologues. Additionally, we are thrilled to showcase Shakes in Your Face, the wandering student performance troupe, who will act out scenes from Shakespeare’s renowned plays. This is event is sure to entertain.
Attendees will have a chance to win tickets to the next Literary Cuisine event or a copy of the Spring Book of the Quarter.
