Finish Your 2022 Courses!
As a quick reminder, MOBI resets its program each calendar year. If you are currently taking a 2022 course, be sure to finish before February 1, 2023. Any work-in-progress will not be transferred to 2023 courses. **Partner courses reset on a different schedule.**
Don’t have time to finish your course before February 1? No problem! Just use your same account login to enroll in a 2023 course. Registration for 2023 courses will open on January 1. You will have to start at the beginning if you switch courses, but that's just more entrepreneurial training!
If you finished your 2022 course earlier this year and have not yet downloaded your Certificate of Completion or digital badge from your account, now is the time! When the courses are reset for 2023 you will no longer be able to access your previous courses. Click here for instructions to download your Certificate, and click here to for instructions to access your digital badge.

MOBI Success Story
We are so proud of the accomplishments of our MOBI students around the world. Each quarter we will share the story of one MOBI entrepreneur. This quarter we feature Nelson Guillen of NARRA General Merchandise & Trading Inc in Manila, Philippines.
Nelson Guillen, a marketing consultant and business instructor in Manila, Philippines who is also pursuing his Ph.D. in business, was inspired by MOBI’s Quick Start Entrepreneur course to start a business in 2020 when Covid-19 shut-downs and restrictions limited his professional pursuits. With an investment of just 200 pesos, Nelson began selling rice cakes or “Kakanin” to friends and colleagues online. It was challenging for Nelson to maintain his successful business when he returned to work, so he teamed with friends to expand the business. NARRA, named for each of the five co-founders, became more than an online resource for kakanin. Many new products were added and the organization was formalized as a corporation, now recognized by the Philippines security and exchange commission. Nelson returned to MOBI to take the Business Expansion course to prepare for this transition.
Partner Spotlight
MOBI partners are an important part of the MOBI program! By forming partnerships with diverse communities of students around the world, MOBI can inspire entrepreneurship in ways that best meet the specific opportunities of each group, and always for free. This quarter we feature TEACH Resource Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. TEACH Resource Group is a 501c3 nonprofit organization aiming to empower low-income and underprivileged housing communities as well as those in the final stages of serving prison time, with employability strengths, leadership skills, and economic independence through a Teach and Transition (T’N’T) Entrepreneurship Training Program utilizing MOBI curriculum. MOBI spoke with TEACH Resource Group Founder and Executive Director Johnette Grant, ABD, to learn more.
Why you chose MOBI? Our organization is utilizing the MOBI platform and curriculum as an addendum to the T’N’T Entrepreneurship Training Program that we currently host in Indianapolis, IN. The platform provides home instruction and learning accountability for each of our participants. We chose MOBI because it offers assistance with learning accountabilities as well as structured information so each learner can find and access answers as well as clarify understanding at a moment's notice, especially when we are not in class together. It is a great research mechanism in the learning process.
How is MOBI making a difference for your students? MOBI has brought a wealth of knowledge and confidence-building techniques to our participants. The platform has also interposed time management skills during the portal study implementation processes in each person's life.
Anything else? We are truly excited about this partnership and are happy to state that we have five new aspiring business owners who have successfully completed our 10-week training who will be participating in a Pitch Feast (Shark Tank style event) where they will highlight their business plan, showcase their SCU Certificate, and share their story on the "why " of their business in front of community investors in the month of December. On behalf of TEACH Resource Group, thank you SCU/MOBI for such an awesome partnership opportunity for our T'N'T (Teach and Transition) Entrepreneurship Training Program.
