    This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Food and Agribusiness Institute at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, which has launched the careers of hundreds of leaders in winemaking, commercial farming, packing, and food processing.

  • Teaching kids about Jesus with Horton Hears a Who and other children’s favorites

    A new, free curriculum developed in conjunction with Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics is using contemporary texts to help the ancient words of scripture make sense to kids. Build. Plant. Grow., available online at www.scu.edu/bpg, pairs the Sunday readings with classic children’s books and uses both to highlight a virtue that anyone can practice.

  • De Saisset Museum Brings the History of Mission Santa Clara to the 21st Century

    The de Saisset museum staff at Santa Clara University just released its first iBooks Textbook, a digital publication designed to give visitors a more enriching look at art and artifacts from the early days of Santa Clara Valley and Mission Santa Clara de Asís. Moving Forward: Santa Clara’s Story of Transformation is the first Multi-Touch book highlighting the history of one of California’s historic missions.
