“We spend months reviewing applications and reading essays. It’s a privilege to offer admission to the diverse and very talented group of students who would like to call Santa Clara University their home for the next four years,” said Eva Blanco Masias, Santa Clara University’s dean of admission.
It is anticipated that approximately 2,500 students will visit campus for Preview Days, the annual visitation program for admitted students on April 14 and April 15. “Admitted students will be able to experience our vibrant campus in the heart of Silicon Valley, learn about our many amazing programs, and meet students and faculty,” said Blanco Masias.
Also, on April 12 and 13, SCU will welcome students to its diversity overnight program, Unity Night. The keynote address at the Unity Luncheon will be given by Marcela Davison Avilés, Latino cultural advisor for the Walt Disney Company and Pixar Animation, and recent lead cultural consultant for Pixar’s Oscar-winning movie Coco.
“Santa Clara is on the cusp of monumental changes on campus. From building Finn Residence Hall which incorporates student designs, to the construction of the state of the art Sobrato Campus for Discovery and Innovation, the Mission Campus will allow students to experience the vitality of Silicon Valley while exploring their academic interests,” said Blanco Masias.
Santa Clara University will host regional admissions receptions throughout the US including: Honolulu, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Denver, Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Boston, and the Tri-state New York Region.
