Q&A
(Queer and Ally) is a group of LGBTQ individuals and allies who aim to create a more inclusive campus by educating themselves and the SCU community and advocating for equality for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We will have more information regarding Q&A meeting times once the school year begins. For more information please contact Chloe Wong at cwong2@scu.edu or visit the SCCAP website here.
Spectrum
A drop-in discussion group. Spectrum holds regular and confidential weekly discussion on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Rainbow Resource Center (Benson 11). Please join us for a discussion and supportive exploration of the common struggles and unique opportunities for growth that many SCU students with sexual or gender identity differences share. LGBTQ+ Alumni Group
In March of 2017, the SCU Alumni Association officially established an LGBTQ+ Alumni Group as part of their Chapters & Groups structure that includes Regional/International Chapters, Identity Based, Professional Industry, and Affinity Groups. The LGBTQ+ Alumni Group is categorized as an Identity-based gropu which aims to connect Broncos based on their shared cultural, racial, or personal identities. The groups provide alumni of diverse backgrounds a comfortable environment for networking and socializing, as well as opportunities to honor shared heritage and experiences. The newly formed LGBTQ+ Alumni Group is a great example of the diverse & inclusive offerings the Alumni Association provides fo rthe SCU family. All who identify or support these groups are welcome to join! For more information please contact Zach Plaza at zplaza@scu.edu.
