Staff Profiles

Nelda Harris serves as the Executive Assistant to the President, after having previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff and Vice President for Inclusive Excellence. Nelda joined the President's Office in 2021 after a 25-year career in program management at Cisco Systems and holding multiple appointments with both the Ignatian Center and the Department of Human Resources at Santa Clara University.  

Currently, Nelda and her husband live in San Jose and are enjoying traveling and spending time with their family and friends. Their two adult children along with their growing families live close by, including their grandson.
