Please read the Application Guidelines below carefully for details on eligibility and projects appropriate for sabbatical leave. For details regarding leaves at full and reduced pay, depending on accrued quarters of full-time service, view the Sabbatical Leave Options document.

 

Sabbatical Applications Are Now Open

Workflow for Sabbatical Applications

Note: This workflow does not apply to JST or School of Law applications

  1. On or before October 4, application submitted through Qualtrics link
  2. Chair is automatically notified of and can immediately view application
  3. Chair responds to automated message by October 21
  4. Dean's Office receives applications for review
  5. The Provost's Office and Sabbatical Committee review applications
  6. Applicants are notified of status on or before December 13
