Nadia Nasr received $30,000 from the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland
Nadia Nasr with the Archives & Special Collection in The Harrington Learning Commons has received a $30,000 award from the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland (funds originated with Hilton Foundation).
Funds will allow Nadia (Head of Archives & Special Collections) to continue her work with the National Archives Project | Women Religious (NAPWR) consortium. The The National Archives Project | Women Religious (NAPWR) consortium, was formed in 2021 to address the archival needs facing women religious congregations in the U.S. to ensure that their archival collections are preserved and accessible into perpetuity. Since 2015, Archives & Special Collections has been collecting the archives of women religious congregations, as many of them prepare for permanent closure.
