Here are the final updates of the year! SCU is home to 21 active and competitive Club Sport teams that take on universities at the local, regional, and national levels. Each month, we check in with teams to see what they've been up to--though not all Club Sports will report each month.
This is the last Newsletter of the year. We congratulate all of our graduates and wish them all the best and look forward to seeing them at future alumni events!
See you out there--Go Broncos!

LEADERSHIP AWARDS
Club Sports Officer Awards are given to an open team officer, men’s team officer, and women’s team officer. Team leadership and team officers work extremely closely with the Club Sports Staff to ensure efficient operations and foster the success of their clubs. We as Club Sport Staff voted on these three individuals on the merits of their interactions with us and their accomplishments as a team leader.

BOXING
The end of the year has come up quickly on us! The sun is out and it's getting warmer, but the boxing club is still in full swing. The end of the competitive season concluded with three members making it to Nationals in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. There has been so much improvement from all the members on the team. Everyone has put in the effort and the time needed to make progress every day. We celebrated the end of the year with our annual Boxers Rebellion, where we had many members come and celebrate with food that was cooked and hosted by our boxing alumni! If you are thinking about joining the team next fall quarter, please contact our team leaders, Alondra Valdez(avaldez@scu.edu) and Morris Su(msu3@scu.edu).

SHOTOKAN KARATE
What’s good, SCU? Karate club just hosted our end-of-the-year celebration, and we’re winding down for the quarter. Belt testing was a smashing success; people moved up a kyu (or belt level) and earned a new belt! Thank you all so much for a fantastic year. It’s been so gratifying to see how far we’ve come this year. Keep it up and have a fantastic summer!

SWIM TEAM
Hey there Aquabronco’s! As we wrap up an awesome spring quarter, we wanted to share some highlights from one of our most exciting events of the year, the Alumni Meet on Sunday, May 18! From the legendary Senior Relay to the hilarious and chaotic T-Shirt Relay, the energy was high and the team spirit was even higher. It was amazing to see past and present Aquabroncos come together for a day full of fun, fast swims, and great memories. We’re so proud of all our swimmers this season, especially our incredible seniors. Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and the legacy you leave behind. We can’t wait to see how the team continues to grow and thrive next year. If you are Interested in joining the club swim team, we’d love to have you! Feel free to reach out to our freshman reps with any questions:

TRIATHLON
Triathlon finished the season strong with a trip to Lake San Antonio for the Wildflower Triathlon back on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3. Great performances from all our athletes who competed, and we can’t wait for next season! We’re still practicing daily as maintenance for next year. Looking forward to training hard over the summer and coming back stronger next season!
MEN'S CLUB SPORTS
MEN'S CLUB VOLLEYBALL
Men’s club volleyball placed 24th in the nation at Nationals in Arizona. We are still practicing once a week during the spring quarter and are looking forward to the upcoming season. Shout out to all of the seniors who made such a huge impact on our team, and to all of the coaches who are so dedicated to our growth. Finally, thank you to our fans, family, and friends; you are all so important to us.
