What do you do in your role at the Center? As a part of SCU’s resource management team, I work with staff to create, implement, and maintain sustainable practices on campus. I mainly focus on waste management - working to increase composting and recycling - but I also run the tree tracking program on campus.
What is your favorite part about being on the team? I enjoy the uplifting community and the opportunity for collaboration across the many facets of SCU.
What extra/co-curricular activities are you involved in on campus? I am a part of the Grand Challenge Scholars Program, where I collaborate with students and faculty to compile a passion project that aligns with the program’s criteria, and I play rugby on SCU’s women’s team.
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share? I grew up in Alaska, and I am very passionate about kelp!
