What do you do in your role at the Center? My upcoming role will consist of exciting opportunities and events to connect the SCU community. I will be engaging in efforts to create programs that are based in community building, advocacy, and civic engagement, along with more programs that are sustainability-focused. I will also be assisting in strategic outreach and communications, current and former involvement analysis, and much more administrative support for the Sustainability minor. Along with serving as a student representative for the LTLS Community Engagement Implementation Team.
What is your favorite part about being on the team? I enjoy being able to connect and be involved with community engagement, especially with the factor of having a focus in Sustainability. I also can’t wait to be able to connect and network with students and staff.
What extra/co-curricular activities are you involved in on campus? Hermanas Unidas & MEXT Club
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share? I really enjoy watching movies or TV shows (so I welcome any recommendations), also whenever I get the chance, I love to go swimming and hiking.
