What do you do in your role at the Center? At the center, I’m involved in planning and promoting events that help teach students about the resources available to them in terms of career opportunities. One event I was proud to participate in was the EcoFashion show. I helped emcee as well as host a career panel with professionals working in the sustainable fashion industry.
What is your favorite part about being on the team? My favorite part about being on the team is getting to work with a group of like-minded people all striving to better our community - it’s really cool to feel like we’re able to make a difference at SCU. The center has been a great way to meet new people and learn new skills that I can take with me post-grad.
What extra/co-curricular activities are you involved in on campus? I’m also the secretary for the professional development club Queer and Qualified, a student ambassador for the Department of Modern Languages, a peer educator for introductory Italian classes, and a KSCU radio show host.
Other passions, hobbies, fun facts, or anything else you want to share? In my free time, I love exploring new areas, photography, art, and reading. I’m the happiest in nature and with my friends and family. As someone originally from the East Coast, I’m looking forward to continuing to explore everything the West Coast has to offer!
