Student Software

Software available to currently enrolled Santa Clara University students.

Microsoft Office 365 Education

Microsoft is providing CURRENT students at eligible institutions Office 365 Education for free. Included applications are Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools. Students must be currently enrolled at Santa Clara University. Files and data from removed accounts are not recoverable after the account is removed. Please see our Microsoft 365 page for more information.

SmartPrint

SmartPrint is the Santa Clara University branded student print system. All SCU students are free to use SmartPrint, as well as, Staff and Faculty. Guests of the university may also use SmartPrint after they have created a guest printing account.

SentinelOne for Student Computers or Personally Owned Computers

SentinelOne Core Protection software (Windows and macOS) is designed to detect, remove, and prevent the spread of malware and other security risks. SCU has purchased licenses for current students, faculty and staff personally owned computers and is available at no cost. SentinelOne must be uninstalled upon graduation or separation from Santa Clara University. Please read the installation instructions as there are some manual steps required after the installation of SentinelOne.

Qualtrics

SCU has a site license for student, faculty, and staff access to Qualtrics, a comprehensive online survey tool. To enroll yourself, go to the Qualtrics tile in your MySCU Portal. Follow the prompts to set up your account. If you already had a free Qualtrics account using your SCU email, say yes to merging the accounts together when prompted during the setup process. Qualtrics questions can be directed to technologytraining@scu.edu.

SPSS

SPSS Statistics is a software package used for statistical analysis. The license covers CURRENT faculty, staff and students only.

To access and download the software, you will be required to log in with your network ID and password.
