Once you are in a safe place, talk to someone you trust about the incident. If you don’t know what to say or what you need, saying, “I need help” is enough.
Talk to a Trusted Friend/Family Member: Remind yourself that if a friend/ family member were in your position, you would be more than willing to help.
Talk to a Confidential Advocate: Ashleigh Pezzoni is a Confidential Survivor Advocate at the Wellness Center and can support you in whatever way you choose. She provides a safe and supportive place for you to process your experience and learn about your options.
