Google Workspace brings together Google applications -- including Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs, and Chat -- into a single, integrated workspace. In MySCU Portal you will be able to access this suite of tools through the Google Workspace tile (Google Workspace requires 2-Factor Authentication with DUO).
The information icon on each tile provides more information about the application.
Individual Google applications can be found by clicking on the Google Apps Menu.
- Gmail
SCUs email system is Gmail. You have been assigned an @scu.edu email address. This is SCUs official email. Students should plan to check it at least once a day. To learn more visit the Gmail Help Center.
- Google Calendar

- Google Drive
SCU has cloud storage on Google Drive. You can access your Google Drive through the Google Apps menu. Use Google Drive to access Docs, Sheets, Presentations and more. To learn more visit the Google Drive Help Center.
- Google Meet
SCU has secure video conferencing available through both Zoom (used in a more formal setting like virtual classes and office hours) and Google Meet (used in a more informal setting like meeting with students or groups in your class).
