Safety must be integrated into student projects. SCU has implemented Environment, Health, and Safety programs to identify hazards and develop methods to mitigate the risk(s) associated with them. These guidelines apply to all junior and senior design projects, sponsored work at outside companies, SCU-endorsed competitions or other project work involving hazardous agents, conditions, processes or activities. Below is a summary of student project safety requirements and safety assessment forms for dry lab and wet lab-based projects.
