Located at 1030 The Alameda, the Santa Clara University School of Law’s Katharine and George Alexander Community Center educates Law students by serving individuals and communities in need through pro bono legal representation and education. The Community Law Center began in 1993 as a volunteer effort of La Raza Law Students Association at Santa Clara University to help day laborers collect wages that were due. The building hosts offices, conference rooms, a client waiting area and a children’s play area.
