Vice Provost for Student Life
The Vice Provost for Student Life provides leadership in developing innovative co-curricular programs and student support services that integrate students’ development and respond to student needs outside the classroom. The Division of Student Life includes a student-centered staff who are committed to student development, learning, well-being and success. The Vice Provost and her team cultivate opportunities for open dialogue that helps shape institutional decision making and ensure inclusion of student voices in all aspects of the University.
Prior to her appointment as Vice Provost, Jeanne served as the University's Dean of Students (1999-2005), Director of the Center for Student Leadership (1997-1999), and Associate Director of the Benson Center and Student Activities (1991-1997). Before coming to Santa Clara in 1991, she worked in Campus Life at California State University at Northridge (1987-1991). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gonzaga University and a Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University.
