Rebecca Chae is an assistant professor in the marketing department at the Leavey School of Business. Her substantive research interests are in judgment & decision making and culture with a focus on consumer behavior that can contribute to individual and societal wellbeing.
Prior to joining Santa Clara University, Dr. Chae earned her Ph.D. in business administration at the University of Michigan, where her dissertation received the ACR/Sheth Foundation Dissertation Award at the Association for Consumer Research. While at Michigan, she also received the outstanding teaching award and research awards. She earned M.S. in marketing from Columbia University and B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
