Communication Students have a wide variety of options to put what they learn in the classroom into practice. The department internship office is there to help when students want real-world experience in Silicon Valley and throughout the world. The debate and forensics program helps hone research and public speaking skills. The university’s award-winning student newspaper, yearbook, radio station, and literary magazine are completely student-run and offer hands-on opportunities to oversee all aspects of a media organization. The Communication Honor Society enables students to exchange ideas in the field of communication, and to establish and maintain close relationships and understanding between faculty and students.
