What We're Up To
Where From/Where To?
Please join us at the de Saisset Museum for the opening of a new exhibition, Where From / Where To?. The exhibition is a collaborative engagement between students from Professor Miah Jeffra's ENGL 74 and other SCU writers who created ekphrastic texts — poems, short prose, hybrid forms — in response to visual artwork by members of the SCU community addressing the concept of 'home.'
Fire, Forests, & the Santa Cruz Mountains
Join us for all or part of this day-long series of talks during tUrn on Friday, April 24th in the St. Clare Room that will reflect on the 2020 CZU Santa Cruz mountain fires from science, arts, and community perspectives.

The Center for the Arts and Humanities at Santa Clara University stands in solidarity with those rising up to call for an end to the long, ongoing, and destructive reality of racial injustice and white supremacy in the United States. We stand with them against hate, against racism, against inequality, against police brutality and impunity. And we stand in solidarity with Black faculty, students, and staff–always, but especially at this moment when racialized and heightened state violence adds to the burdens of grief, trauma, and vulnerability.
