Michele Sieglitz is a Bay Area-based independent media producer and editor. She primarily works on creating promo videos for artists and dancers and producing short, documentary films that highlight students, faculty and academic programs for the California Community Colleges system.
Michele’s experience in studying abroad in Strasbourg, France where she concentrated in International Studies and Psychology just as the European Union was forming and then working with a video producer in London, U.K., created the foundation for her avid interest in travel, photography and documentary filmmaking.
Michele returned to the Bay Area to begin her career as a freelance producer, editor and film educator. She has over 25 years of teaching experience at BAVC (Bay Area Video Coalition), Art Institute of California-San Francisco (Digital Film & Video Production) and City College of San Francisco (Broadcast Electronic Media Arts).
