Theoretical Computer Scientist, Sara Krehbiel, Joins SCU
Sara Krehbiel joined Santa Clara as a tenure-track faculty member in Fall 2019. She is a theoretical computer scientist whose research focuses on data privacy and applications of graph theory. Sara is coming to us after four years as a faculty member at the University of Richmond. She got her PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics, & Optimization from Georgia Tech, her MS in Computer Science from UT Austin, and her BAS in Economics and Mathematical & Computational Science from Stanford University. Sara will teach Automata, Object-Oriented Programming, and Algorithms during 2019-2020 academic year, and she looks forward to getting to know our students at SCU. Sara pretends to like running. She also enjoys indoor and outdoor rock climbing (without having to pretend) and welcomes recommendations for good nearby crags!
