Lucia Alvarado Cantero
Lecturer
Born and raised in Costa Rica. Lucía holds a Master's degree in Language Acquisition and Linguistics studies from the University of Costa Rica and a Masters in Education by the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she also will complete her PhD in Education with a designated emphasis in Social Documentation in the Fall, 2024. More than 20 years of experience in language teaching. Her research explores the educational opportunities for forcibly displaced in transit children from Central America and Mexico. Her production includes published articles and short films.
