Yujie Ge
Biographical Information
Yujie Ge is an Associate Teaching Professor of Chinese in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Santa Clara University. She received her Master's degree in Asian Languages and Literatures with a concentration in Chinese language and literature from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Shortly after, she obtained a second Master's degree with a major in Journalism and Mass Communications from San Jose State University. During her time at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, she taught Chinese courses for two years. She has been teaching Chinese at Santa Clara University since September 2006. She also taught Chinese courses for two years at San Jose State University. She has been serving as the advisor to the Chinese Students Association at Santa Clara University. She is passionate about teaching and always inspires students to learn Chinese language and culture, both locally and abroad. She loves the language and enjoys spending time with students.
