Clarinet
Ginger Kroft is Principal Clarinet with Sacramento Philharmonic and Carmel Bach Festival, and is a member of Oakland Symphony. Mrs. Kroft regularly performed with San Francisco Ballet Orchestra for six seasons and has performed with San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Opera. As a chamber musician, she directs programs at Carmel Bach Festival, including Wind Octets and an innovative series, "FreshTradition." Mrs. Kroft has collaborated with Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, Bridge Players, ADORNO, and Avenue Winds.
Mrs. Kroft is a faculty member at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Pre-College and Continuing Education, and at Santa Clara University. She is a frequent adjudicator for regional and national competitions, most recently for USIMC and Berkeley Piano Club. Mrs. Kroft maintains a private teaching studio.
As an education advocate, Mrs. Kroft serves on Board of Directors for CAPMT State Board; formerly serving on MTAC-Santa Clara Board and CAPMT District 2. A featured Presenter at CAPMT State Conference, Mrs. Kroft is a sought-after lecturer and presenter at universities and music schools.
Ginger Kroft is a Vandoren International Artist and performs on M15 mouthpieces & Traditional reeds. Mrs. Kroft holds degrees with distinction from Northwestern University and San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with David Breeden, Dan Gilbert, and Clark Brody.
